EDUCATION - BS and MS in Agricultural Engineering, University of Nebraska, 1983 and 1984. LICENSING - Licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and Iowa. SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE - Mr. DeHaan has been a private consulting agricultural engineer since joining private practice in 1990, gaining experience in the site layout, design, construction management, regulatory submittal and construction development of production livestock facilities in the areas of swine, beef, dairy, and poultry. He also has considerable experience in the development and design of municipal and livestock water systems and irrigation facility design. He has developed and submitted numerous designs for regulatory submittal for permitting in the states of Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, and Illinois. These designs have been completed and submitted to regulatory agencies for review and construction based upon environmental design, facility layouts and structural requirements. With these requirements have been the development of Best Management Practices (BMP's). Detailed Waste Management Plans and Operational Manuals and Pollution Prevention Plans (PPP's) in the above mentioned states. Mr. DeHaan has also been involved in engineering elevation surveying and geologic investigations for livestock production facilities as well as the hydrologic design and specifications of rural water districts, livestock facilities and irrigation system design. He has also completed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments for private individuals and municipalities in Nebraska. Finally, Mr. DeHaan has actively been involved with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and has served as Vice-President for the Kansas Section. In addition, Mr. DeHaan is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Minnkota Agri-Builders and Equipment Association.

He is also experienced in watershed modeling and design of levees, dams and sediment control structures. Mr. Grabs has served as an Expert Witness in court cases involving watershed modeling and levees. He has also developed and submitted numerous designs for regulatory approval for permitting in the states of Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota and Oklahoma. These designs have been completed and submitted to regulatory for review and construction approval based upon environmental design, facility layouts and structural requirements. Within these requirements have been the development of Best Management Practices (BMP's) for the facilities in the above mentioned states. Moreover, Mr. Grabs has been involved in engineering elevation surveying and geologic investigations required for site development of construction projects, floodwater retarding dams, sediment control structures and levees. He has also completed numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments for private individuals and municipalities in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Finally, Mr. Grabs is actively involved with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), obtaining the Young Engineer of the Year recognition from the Kansas section of ASABE in 1996.
